Due to inclement weather conditions in Big Bear this weekend, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Winter Camp. Along with heavy snow, some road closures, electrical outages, and freezing conditions, the camp facility itself has experienced washed out roads which have led to several cabins becoming inaccessible. Safety is of utmost importance to us, and we feel peace that this decision is the best and most responsible choice given the climate and conditions up the mountain. You will receive a full refund for any payments made for Winter Camp.
BUT... We will be hosting a special youth event this Sunday night from 7pm-11pm in our main sanctuary at the Westside Vineyard. This event will be totally FREE. Come out for an awesome night together with pizza, games, extended worship time, and ministry time (just like at camp!)
We are ready for God to move!
Our annual Vineyard Youth Winter Camp is fast approaching. We will be heading up to Big Bear on President's Day weekend, February 16-18, 2019. This trip is open to all current 6th-12th graders.
Winter Camp is a great opportunity for middle and high school students to join with other teenagers from Vineyard communities around SoCal and gather for spiritual growth, deepening of relationships, mountain memory-making, and maybe some snow!
The cost is $200 (early-bird). While a slightly higher cost than our Equip summer camp, we add the cost of professional transportation and facilities while there. We will be staying at Camp Cedar Lake. We don't want finances to prohibit participation, so partial financial aid is available to qualifying participants. If you're in need of financial assistance, please contact one of our youth pastors.
In our experience, trips like this one can include defining moments for your teenager's faith and spiritual growth. We encourage you to make this a priority and encourage your child to attend!
The cost will increase to $225 on January 6. Our total capacity is 45 (leaders & students combined). Register to reserve your spot.
