Brad is a native of the Westside of Los Angeles. He graduated from Pacific Palisades High School and San Diego State University. After coming to know Christ during rebellious teenage years, he began ministering to the local youth and surfing community, as well as providing an "open house" to those in need. Following college, he accepted an invitation to join the development of a church plant for the international community of Geneva, Switzerland. He then moved to India where he had the opportunity to live and serve in various communities and training centers.
Brad returned to Southern California to attend Fuller Theological Seminary where he completed a Masters of Divinity in Theology and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy. During this time he became a part of the Westside Vineyard, in 1987 he joined the pastoral staff and in 1991 accepted the position of Senior Pastor.
Looking back on the years of teenage rebellion he sees how Jesus is the true rebel…the one who confronts the real powers that have ruled us all. From that process, he believes that the call of Jesus is not a call to just be “good” religious people but to receive the power of God to reclaim us as His own… by a love that meets us at the deepest core of our nature. Brad has served the larger Vineyard movement as Area Pastoral Leader and currently as the leader of a U.S. India Partnership.
Now married for over 25 years, Brad’s wife Leah was also born and raised on the Westside. Along with her support of Brad and involvement in the ministry, she enjoys a longstanding career in oncology (cancer) related nursing at UCLA, where she now serves as a Bone Marrow Transplant Coordinator.
The Baileys have four children — Travis (college), Jackson (college), Cate (high school) and Cole (middle school.) Together they enjoy the various activities of their children, date nights at the movies, and experiencing God working amidst life’s chaos.

Associate Pastor of Operations, Worship Life, Young Adults, Outreach, and Missions
Pastor Joel was born in Colorado and grew up in New Mexico. He initially experienced God during his teenage years, but it wasn’t until college that Joel resolved to following the Way of Jesus.
He was studying music in a conservatory when God began to stir Joel’s heart to be a part of a new work in his own generation. He began working with youth and college students followed by a pastoral internship in New Mexico. Following college, Joel began pastoral ministry in New Mexico, where he spent six years as pastor of youth and worship arts. Having felt God’s call to a new season of ministry, in the Fall of 2001 Joel accepted the call to join the pastoral leadership of the Westside Vineyard, with a specific emphasis for young adults. Joel continues to lead our community of young adults... and he also oversees operations, worship arts, emerging generations, outreach, and our Mission Advisory Council.
Joel's wife of 20 years, Shannon, studied music at Baylor University and the University of Texas, and she currently enjoys her career as a private voice coach and piano instructor on the Westside. Joel and Shannon have two children — a son, Andrew, and a daughter, Kaylee. Email Joel

Pastor of High School and Student Ministries, Worship Leader
Jonathan was born and raised in Upstate New York. He was raised going to church and was very active in his middle and high school youth group. During his college years, he decided that he was going to follow Jesus with his entire life. This started by playing a major role in planting a church on his college campus at SUNY Oswego.
While he was studying at SUNY Oswego and majoring in Adolescence Education / History, Jonathan answered a call to intern at a church in Southeast Michigan as a worship leader. His internship would have more in store than he initially had thought it would. After his first year there, he decided to step up and offer leadership to a void in the area of student ministries. Jonathan then served in a dual role for almost four years as the Director of Creative Arts/Worship and Student Ministries Leader. Over that course of time, Jonathan began to see God's heart for young people to know and experience Him. And that is what Jonathan wants people to see through his life.
In 2011, Jonathan met Aleigha (you'll have to ask them to tell you the story of that first meeting - it's worth asking them!). In planning and preparing for marriage and new life together, Jonathan and Aleigha prayed earnestly for God to lead them where He wanted them to be. And in this seeking of God's direction, Aleigha was led to move to L.A. in the spring of 2014, and Jonathan was then also called to L.A. in the summer of 2015.
Together, Jonathan and Aleigha have two dogs, which they will frequently refer to as "their boys". They are two German shepherd mixes named Maestro and Sully. Email Jonathan
Director of the Learning Zone / Pastor of Middle School & Assistant Director of Children's Ministries
Ron was born and raised in the Northwest Indiana suburbs of Chicago. He was baptized Greek Orthodox and went to church every Christmas and Easter. In hindsight, God was always present in his life and heart, but it wasn't until he made a firm commitment to pursue a relationship with Jesus nine years ago that he started to discover and recognize Holy Spirit's presence and began to grasp what it really means to be a Christ follower.
If someone had told Ron long ago when he moved to L.A. with his wife, Tosha, to pursue his stage and film acting, directing and producing career that he would develop a passion for kids, youth and Jesus and pursue a ministry and calling on his life by God, he would not have believed them. Seven years ago, Ron never heard God's voice louder in his life than he did at the end of a sermon where the pastor invited those interested in serving in Kids' Church to come to a meeting. He answered that call and and went to that meeting... and today, Ron can say that The Lord truly meant for him to come to L.A. to pursue his dreams and talents; however, not for the advancement of fame and fortune, but to instead advance His Kingdom on earth!
Three years ago, Ron felt another tremendous call on his life by God - a calling to pastoral leadership for kids. With the guidance of (read: a couple of swift kicks from) the Holy Spirit, strong pastoral mentoring by Pastor Marlo Blandford and some great classes and teachers at Harvest Bible University in Downtown L.A., he has done his best to be faithful to God and answer His call. Ron always told people they need to listen to what God has in store for them, but it was very hard for him to do that himself. Looking back on recent times where he has really just put a colossal amount of faith in The Lord's plan, Ron is truly amazed by the path He has laid out for him. After finally letting go, Ron became the Kids' Ministry Assistant, Director of The Learning ZONE (The Westside Vineyard's after-school mentorship program) and now Pastor of Middle School Youth, truly a dream come true.
Ron's wife, Tosha, shines her light as Assistant to the Clergy at Leo Baeck Temple in L.A. His son, Nikko, shines his at Kester Elementary School and various athletic fields around town. Email Ron
