In response to God's compassion and mercy for the world, we consider the mission of the church to be the mission of Jesus Christ continued on earth as He is embodied in us by the Holy Spirit. This mission is to proclaim the Good News, to set at liberty those who are oppressed and to proclaim the fulfillment of God's plan in history (Acts 1:8 and Luke 4:18).
We serve the local community through practical demonstrations of God’s love.

The Mar Vista Food Pantry at Westside Vineyard Church continues to serve nearly 1,000 Mar Vista residents weekly. Since July 2020, we have distributed over a million pounds of food!
This ministry relies solely on a significant number of volunteers weekly. We welcome volunteers who take part in the Westside Vineyard community and also those who don’t.
Please consider giving a portion of your time and energy and participating in the lives of your neighbors. Any amount of time helps. Our biggest needs are Wednesdays at 1-3pm (packing grocery bags) and 3:45-5pm (food distribution).
HARVEST HOME
Harvest Home has been a ministry partner of Westside Vineyard for several years. A residential, Christ-centered home dedicated to meeting the needs of women in crisis pregnancy, Harvest Home transforms the lives of homeless pregnant women and their children by providing housing, support and programs that equip women to become great mothers.
In late summer 2022, the second Harvest Home opened in the Pico-Robertson area, doubling the number of residents and their children. With that, there is an immense number of volunteer opportunities in a variety of areas, from babysitting and carpentry to gift wrapping and cooking.
